Flamenco
Flamenco, one of Spain's internationally known arts of music, song, and dance, is an expression that ranges the gamut from pride to despair and from tragedy to boisterous humor. Its roots can be found in various cultures: those of the Spanish Gypsies, the Moors, the Sephardic Jews, and the Iberian populations. The dance features strong rhythmic foot work, expressive torso and arm engagement, and movement vocabulary from various traditions of dance in Spain.
