William Treviño William is co-founder of Corporeal Arts Incorporated. He directed Mirrors and After Hours, and he co-created and performed After Hours and Tamar & Amnon with his wife, Selma.

William specialized in the Korean martial art of Soo Bahk Do. He is a 3rd degree black belt with 16 years of experience and a proud member of the Moo Duk Kwan. He directed the Martial (Theatre) Arts Project at the University of California-Irvine and has performed demonstrations for the Association of Theatre Movement Educators and the International Federation for Theatre Research. He is currently conducting martial arts research at Columbia University under the guidance of Master H.Y. Kwon.

William received a BA in History from Claremont McKenna College and an MFA in Acting from the University of California, Irvine. He has taught theatre and communication classes for the New York Film Academy, Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, St. Joseph’s College, and the City University of New York.

William also has years of training in Corporeal Mime, Contact Imporvisation, and stage combat, and his work is influenced by studies in the Michael Chekhov technique, the Alexander technique, and expressive masks. He is an AFTRA member, SAG eligible, and has performed on television, radio, and off-Broadway. Memorable performances include Tamar & Amnon at Koko Teatteri in Finland and Andrei Serban’s Faust at the New York Metropolitan Opera.
